GCS was started with 2 principles in mind: to help as many charities as possible and to put Canadians to work. We do this by enabling charitable cash donations in any currency; the more charities we work with, the more funds are raised to support their efforts, and the more people it takes to do the work.

But we don't stop there. The Currency for Kids program is our showcase fundraising initiative that also supports local businesses! We do this by promoting these businesses on Social Media and we have also created a webpage with an integrated Google Map that identifies everyone of those businesses so they are easy to find.
Currency for Kids not only creates awareness for local businesses, but drives traffic to them.
