Joe Fida, Giancarlo Sessa and Aedan Fida, together, launched Bladea company that began when they were actually in University. Joe noticed a problem with the inefficiency of carbon filters. He then used his engineering background to create a solution that led to a global patent, and a company that took these co-founders from zero to $56M in four years. They share the formation of Blade, their funding challenges, what surprised them, how their age affected the journey and advice for other founders on things that could have helped them early on.
